Is BMW K1600 bike compatible with SMH10? If so, how can I connect SMH10 to the bike?

Here's an example guide of how to make SMH10 work with built-in Bluetooth audio system of motorcycles. Please see the attached material for BMW K1600 application.

Its not clear if the gps direction will be heard if you don't pair the sena with the gps, just pairing it with the bike's main unit.   or if you do - it appears you loose music ?

@Simon

Set up instruction in the document will allow SMH10 to receive audio from both music and built in-in GPS.

I have an original SMH10. I have followed the directions above, but cant get it to pair with the K1600 and my Iphone at the same time.

I am able to get it to pair with one either the iphone or the K1600, but but not both at the same time

Is this possible to Pair to the K1600 and still be able to make calls on the iphone?

Update: I can pair both per the instructions, but the sound on the iphone is garbled - any suggestions?

Update 2: I turned off the bluetooth on the Nav IV ( I wasn't using it anyways) and all is well...

on the BMW k1600 when you downloaded the new version 4.0firmware are you having problems hearing the music? I have a 2012 BMW 1600GTL and when i use the 3.3 firmware it works great. When i upgrade to the 4.0 firmware the music comes in but its makes the song stutter a lll the time.

I have the older sena which is not firmware upgradable, so this is not an issue for me. I have heard there is a fix on the way for the 4.0 firmware however.
